Friends of the Library President Betty Bell Wins Town of Palm Beach United Way Award |

Betty Bell, who has devoted more than two decades of service to Families First of Palm Beach County, received the Nettie Finkle Distinguished Volunteer Award at the 24th annual Residential Luncheon of the Town of Palm Beach United Way.
Pat Lester, a United Way trustee, was chairwoman of the luncheon, which took place Feb. 4 at The Breakers.
Michael Bracci presented the award to Bell, who was nominated by Familes First executive director Julie Swindler.
More than 300 community leaders and volunteers were on hand to hear the Hon. Paul Schneider, former deputy secretary of Homeland Security, speak.
Proceeds benefit the Town of Palm Beach United Way, a volunteer-driven organization that supports 100 health and human services programs at 46 local nonprofit organizations. |
