We Remember: The 10th Anniversary of September 11 |
|
The events of Tuesday, September 11, 2001, shook our nation like nothing had before, leaving sorrow and fear where two twin buildings once stood. Ten years after the attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and United Airlines Flight 93, we remember the victims and the first responders, their families, and the people who continue to endanger and sacrifice their lives to keep us safe – and free.
The following books and documentary films for adults and young people are just some of the resources available to check out or reserve from our Library. We’ve also included a selection of informational and pictorial web sites for you to learn more not only about that time in our country’s history, but to see how, a decade later, Americans have forged ahead in rebuilding their lives and their neighborhoods, while never forgetting those who died that terrible day.
